I knew Judy both as a classmate and neighbor. A very kind, sweet girl. I'll never forget the night that she passed away in a tragic rollover accident... c/o Adams Rd & Silverbell Rd. I believe that she was with Nancy Jones who survived. Terribly sad incident that impacted many people.
Yes, a tragic accident and I questioned why I should be spared instead of her. She was lively and fun and terribly missed! We were headed west on Silver Bell Rd. on our way to Silver Bell lodge, and when we pulled out from the stop sign, a young man who was headed southbound very fast down Adams Rd. t-boned us on Judy's side. There were no seatbelt laws back then and we were all thrown out of our cars. Verna Overturf Morelli spent a lot of time pushing me around in a wheelchair until I was able to get a walking cast. The Georgeoff family was a really great family and I always grieved their loss, as well as my own.
